India’s first National Conference on Computer Vision – NCCV2026, themed ‘Surveillance & Beyond – The CCTV Story’, begins today at the RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru.
The 2-day conference will bring together academia, industry, government, researchers, and technology innovators to shape the future of intelligent surveillance and computer vision.
As CCTV systems evolve into AI-powered intelligent sensing platforms, they have become a cornerstone of modern smart cities, critical infrastructure, industrial security, transportation, healthcare, and public safety.
NCCV2026 will explore the latest advances in analytics and AI, security and surveillance, hardware and projects, and governance, regulations and compliance, highlighting how trusted computer vision technologies can enable safer, more secure, and privacy-conscious digital ecosystems.
The conference is being organised by the Center for Computer Vision Research (CCVR), RV College of Engineering, in association with the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC), TechConPro Pvt Ltd, and the IoT Security Foundation, under the guidance of Mr. Sanjay Sahay, Ex-IPS (former ADGP, Karnataka), a distinguished cybersecurity leader and Founder & Mentor of the Center for Computer Vision Research.
This IoTSF collaboration brings together leading institutions from academia, cybersecurity, and industry to foster innovation and research in computer vision and intelligent surveillance.
