We’re pleased to announce Khurrum Siddiq, Caviar Data’s Chief Executive Officer, as the new leader of the IoTSF Quantum Safe IoT special interest group.
Caviar Data helps organisations gain complete visibility and control of their IT and IoT assets through Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM), Cyber Asset Security Management (CSAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) services.
By identifying cryptographic assets, managing technology inventories, and supporting post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness, Caviar Data enables organisations to assess quantum risk, plan cryptographic migration, and strengthen the resilience of connected IoT ecosystems against future quantum-enabled threats.
Launched in January of 2026, the IoTSF’s Quantum Safe IoT special interest group brings together industry experts, technology providers, researchers, and end users to address the emerging security challenges posed by quantum computing.
The group focuses on helping organisations understand the impact of quantum threats on connected devices and critical infrastructure, promoting the adoption of post-quantum cryptography (PQC), cryptographic agility, and quantum-safe design principles.
Through collaboration, best practice guidance, and real-world case studies, the SIG supports the development of resilient IoT ecosystems that remain secure throughout the quantum transition.
